This policy explains what information UPick collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Accounts

When you create an account, we store your email address, display name, and authentication credentials managed by our platform provider. Your email is used to sign you in, send pool invitations, pick reminders, and important account notices. We never sell your email address.

Picks and Pool Data

The picks you make, the pools you join, your entry and group names, and your standings are stored so the app can score your leagues and show results to other members of your pools. This information is visible to the other members of pools you choose to join. Pool commissioners can manage pool settings, slates, and picks within their pools. We also keep an internal audit history of pick changes to protect data integrity and resolve disputes.

Group Chat

Messages you post in a pool's group chat are stored and shown to that pool's members. Be mindful of what you share — chat content is visible to everyone in the pool, including pool commissioners.

Analytics

We collect basic, anonymous usage analytics — such as which features are used and general app performance — to improve the app. These events do not include your picks' content or your personal conversations.

Third-Party Services

UPick pulls game schedules, live scores, and odds data from public sports data providers (such as ESPN and The Odds API). These services receive no personal information about you. Transactional emails (invitations, reminders, and alerts) are delivered through our platform's email service.

Contact Form

If you contact us through the contact form, we store the email address and message you provide so we can reply. Contact submissions are used only to respond to you and are protected by spam and rate limits.

Deleting Your Account

You can request account deletion from within the app's settings. Deleting your account removes your account, personal details, and app settings. Some pool records (such as past picks that affect league standings and history) may be retained in anonymized form so your leagues' results stay intact. Children's Privacy

UPick is intended for users 13 and older, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
